Each council's document link travels with the bay: open a bay on the map and its details panel shows it, with the document's own date beside it where Bluebay's provenance records one. Where it records none, or the published source carries no date at all, the panel says which of the two applies rather than showing a date of Bluebay's own.

Place search

The place search and the map-area municipality lookup on the map use the geocoder of the Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya (eines.icgc.cat). Search queries are sent to the ICGC service. To name the town the map is over, the map's centre point is also sent to the ICGC service — after 'near me' or while 'Follow me' is on, that point is your location. ICGC is a Catalan public body; we send nothing else.
